A Pair of Black Japanned and Hand Painted Table Lamps

A pair of heavy, tall, wooden, black japanned and hand painted table lamps.  Mid 20th century 

The bases decorated in gold with flowers in diamond shaped motifs and stylised symbols and curlicues with cabochon beads.  The black stems painted with golden dragonflies with outstretched wings.

Re-wired and safety tested, with bayonet lamp holders, matching cable and in line switches.
