A Black Anglepoise Lamp by Herbert Terry

A desk lamp in it's original black paint.  An iconic Herbert Terry "anglepoise" desk lamp, with a spun aluminium shade and a heavy two step base.  Rewired and PAT tested. Fitted with a UK 3 pin plug.  Standard bayonet fitting   

Herbert Terry and sons developed and patented the Anglepoise mechanism from a design by a British Automotive engineer in 1932. This design (1938 - 1968) consists of three springs on the lower armature, and no springs on the upper armature which makes this design uncluttered and elegant in operation.
