A Wedgwood Majolica Pie Dish

A Wedgwood Majolica oval shaped pie dish, the body decorated with foliage, flowers, swags and game. The lid decorated similarly, surmounted by a pair of grouse as a lifting handle. The interior glazed and complete with it's original inner dish liner.

Slug impressed WEDGWOOD to the base, the registry mark has the date code X which dates the design as February 1868.  Some losses and old repairs
