A Chinese Porcelain Vase

A Chinese porcelain vase of  baluster form, with mythical beast handles. painted in underglaze blue with peonies, peaches and rockwork on a celadon ground

This charming vase is typical of early simple pieces coming from China, and is 19th or probably late 18th century.  remenicent in its style of painting pattern to 18th C tea bowls and other wares.  This vase has no cracks, but the painted surface has bubbles and losses in firing.  It is presented in original condition, with no staple repairs, and no restoration, hence a good price for such style.
